Tlaxihuiqui has been getting great feedback so far from fans and journalists alike. The album has been shared on socials by artists such as Nate Query (The Decemberists), Kohinoorgasm, Dougie Poole, and the Union of Musicians and Allied Workers.

Music blog Undrcurrents has called the album “one of the most powerful listening experiences of the year,” and Denver cultural staple 303 Magazine has described it as “devastatingly honest, powerful and stunningly self-aware all in the same breath.

Today we’ve released the official lyric video for track nine on the album, “Chicahuac.” This traditional Nahuatl chant accompanies the title track as Phillip “Archi” Archuleta and Gilbert “Lefty” Pacheco’s offerings to the spirits.

Grandfather
We thank you for our life
We thank you for our heart
And we continue this walk with power.
